Trisha and Anushka team up again for Gautham Vasudev Menon?

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who had last directed Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta starring Dhanush, has a number of movies like Vikram starrer Dhruva Natchathiram and Varun starrer Joshua lined up for release.

On the other hand, the director had recently released a short film during the lockdown, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn which was an extension of his 2010 romantic blockbuster Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, and featured Simbu and Trisha.

While there are rumours making the rounds that Gautham Vasudev Menon will be directing Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 2 with Simbu and Trisha for Vels Film International, the latest news is that his next with Vels might be a fresh love story which will have Simbu and Trisha besides Anushka as another female lead. An official clarification on this rumour is awaited. Earlier Trisha and Anushka were a part of Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arindhal.
