Gaundamani gives famous cricketer a rare surprise during lockdown

Gaundamani the legendary comedian of Tamil cinema not only has millions of fans across the globe but several celebrities themselves are in awe of him and his quick wit.  The counter king as he is fondly known is now out of the limelight and never appears in public events and as a rule does not give any interviews.

TN and India cricketer Subramani Badrinath has got the rare opportunity to meet Gaundamani who also obliged for a photo.  The former CSK player has shared his fanboy moment tweeting “When A visit to the dentist turned out  more than nice met the legendary Tamil comedian Goundamani ‘அரசியல்ல இதெல்லாம சாதாரணம் அப்பா”

The Tamil dialogue is one of Gaundamani’s most repeated line which he mouthed for the super hit movie ‘Suryan’ directed by Pavithran in which he portrayed a bumbling politician that gave rise to many a hilarious sequence and is fodder for meme creators even today.
