Gali Janardhan Reddy on Saturday evening reached the Crime Branch office in Bengaluru in connection with the alleged Rs. 18 Cr bribery case pertaining to the period when he was a Minister in BJP's Yeddyurappa government in Karnataka.
It may be noted that Gali was believed to be on the run for three days before he released a video statement on Saturday morning, claiming that he was never on the run.
"I am not on the run and I am not in Hyderabad as some reports are saying. In view of the police deciding to question me in the case, I have decided to appear before the Central Crime Branch," Gali today said in the morning.
He expressed faith in the police system.
