Gaddar Film Awards 2025: FDC Releases Official Notification, Entries Invited

The Telangana State government has officially announced the organization of the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards (TGFA) for films certified between January 1 and December 31, 2025. A formal notification to this effect was issued on Monday by the Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited (TGFDC).
As per the notification, the corporation has invited entries from film producers and government agencies across the world for Telugu films in a wide range of categories. These include feature films promoting national integration, films based on environment, heritage and history, debut feature films, and films that offer wholesome entertainment.
Submissions are also open for feature films with strong social messages, animation films, special effects-driven films, children’s films, documentary films, and short films. In addition, entries are being accepted for individual awards honoring artists and technicians, books and critical articles on Telugu cinema, as well as feature films made in Urdu.
The prescribed entry forms, along with detailed rules and regulations, will be available from January 21, 2026. Applicants can obtain the forms from TGFDC on payment of ₹5,900, inclusive of 18 percent GST, through Demand Draft or UPI in favour of the “Managing Director, Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited,” payable at Hyderabad.
The last date for the sale of entry forms is January 31, 2026, up to 3:00 PM. Completed entry forms, along with all required supporting documents, must be submitted on or before February 3, 2026, by 3:00 PM at the office of the Managing Director, TGFDC, Hyderabad.
