Funny wedding card is going viral

A parody wedding invite is going viral this marriage season.  Written mostly in Hindi and English, it kind of takes the form of satire.

“Sharma ji ka ladka (yahan bhi tumse aage) weds ‘Verma ji ki ladki’, which explains the ridiculous hashtag #ShaVerma,” says the card.

Saying that the wedding is on 6 December when 22,000 other weddings will be taking place in the city and you will be stuck in traffic for hours, it adds that the venue is wherever four other weddings are taking place, leaving the guests confused.

The card also takes a dig at the Indian habit of posing questions to youngsters about when they will be getting married.
