First picture of Mukesh Ambani’s newborn grandson released

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani have announced the birth of their first grandchild. Their son Akash Ambani and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta have welcomed a baby boy in Mumbai today.

The first picture of the newborn, held by his grandfather Mukesh Ambani, has surfaced online. An official statement from the Ambani family’s spokesperson read, “With the grace and blessings of Lord Krishna , Shloka and Akash Ambani became proud parents of a baby boy today in Mumbai. Both mother and son are doing well. The new arrival has brought immense joy to the entire Mehta and Ambani families. Nita and Mukesh Ambani are delighted to become grandparents.” Akash is Mukesh Ambani’s first son and he proposed to diamantaire Russel Mehta and Mona’s daughter Shloka Mehta in March 2018 after having dated since high school. 

The couple got married in a star-studded event on March 9. Their wedding was attended by various corporate leaders, actors, and politicians, including Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Rajinikanth, and Shah Rukh Khan, among many others.
