Comedian Ali has no liking for film critics. Far from respecting them, he is disgusted by them.
Speaking at an event of ‘Raju Gari Gadhi-3’, the senior comedian has pooh-poohed reviewers, describing them as fools. He used ‘kaun kiska gottam gallu’, resorting to colloquial language to hit out at the critics who didn’t rate ‘RGG-3’ well. “We are in the film industry to value the verdict of the audience. We don’t care about critics. Who are these critics to write off a movie for the sake of writing off?” an angry Ali asked.
The horror-comedy, which is a remake, recovered its costs in just three days. Released last Friday, it’s doing well, largely thanks to the absence of any competitor.
