We have seen dresses of various kinds. From Khadi to silk to beyond, different cultures across the world have tasted various natural and synthetic flavours. But here is the “balloon garment”, introduced by Norwegian womenswear designer Fredrik Tjærandsen. Ever since models walked the ramp recently wearing the new invention, the Internet has been abuzz with viral videos of the same.
The designer has been quoted as saying that the balloon garments use an air pressure system that allows the wearer to control the flow of air. “In order to deflate the garment, the user needs to activate an internal latch that pops air out of the bubble,” he adds.
It has to be seen which Indian celeb will be the first one to use it. Get ready for jokes, too, on the dress.
