Famous director confirms teaming up with Karthi for his next film on stage!

We all know that the audio launch event of Karthi starrer ‘Viruman’ took place in Madurai on August 3. The movie, directed by Mauthaiya, is gearing up for a release on August 12 and the team is now on a promotional tour. Karthi and Aditi Shankar flew to Malaysia for the promotions earlier. 

The lead pair of ‘Viruman’ returned recently to take part in the Chennai press meet. Speaking at the press meet, director Raju Murugan reportedly confirmed that his next film is with Karthi. Raju Murugan has also penned lyrics for two songs in ‘Viruman’. The maker, who has previously helmed ‘Cuckoo’, ‘Joker’ and ‘Gypsy’, reportedly revealed that the long-time speculation is true and he will join hands with Karthi for an upcoming movie. On the work front, Karthi has ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and ‘Sardar’ also lined up for theatrical release.
