‘Falaknuma Das’ Review: A tough gang leader

The Telugu remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Angamaly Diaries’ comes with the title ‘Falaknuma Das’.  A true-blue ‘nenu local’ film, it has been directed by Vishwak Sen, also its lead actor.  Sen was most recently seen in ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’.

At about 90 seconds, the Teaser introduces us to the world of Das.  It’s full of violent men and a romantic woman.  Men take abuses from our no-holds-barred hero, while the heroine (Saloni Mishra) dedicates a lip-to-lip kiss.  Uttej has a supporting role in this ‘Mass Ka Das’ movie that has ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director Tharun Bhascker in the role of a cop.  The characters speak in Telangana lingo.

Also featuring Harshita Gaur and Prashanthi Charuolingah, ‘FD’ has OST by Vivek Sagar, while cinematography is by Vidya Sagar Chinta.  Produced by Karate Raju, its art work is by Akhila Pemmasani, Tarun and Vinod.  Ravi Teja is the editor.
