It is not uncommon to see the web ablaze with trending teasers and trailers before the release of movies of big stars. Especially Tamil film teasers and trailers have taken it a notch up by beating not only local and regional, but also international records.
For instance, Thala Ajith’s ‘Vivegam’ teaser was leading the race with over 6,05,000 likes only to be overtaken by Thalapthy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ teaser with over 10,00,000 likes. Cue drumroll, and now we have Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu making his way into the competition with his ‘Bharath Ane Nenu’ teaser which has garnered over 6,55,000 likes surpassing Ajith’s record. (Gulp. Yes it did.)
