English teacher fails to read English during inspection

Bringing to the fore the general lack of even half-decent teaching standards in India's government schools, an English teacher has been found to be incapable of reading English from a textbook. The incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao.
As reported by ANI, the English teacher, named Rajkumari, failed to read a few lines of the language from a book after the District Magistrate, Devendra Kumar Pandey, asked her to read during an inspection of a government school in Sikandarpur Sarausi. This teacher takes classes for Standard VII and VIII children.
As the teacher failed, the DM asked another teacher to do so. Like a kid, she offered a lame excuse: "I have forgotten my glasses at home".
Reportedly, the DM has ordered action against the erring teachers who have shown to be utterly incompetent.
Think of those government school teachers who will have to teach everything in English in Andhra Pradesh, thanks to a rushed decision by the YCP government.
