In the latest development, Elon Musk has approached the globally famous pop sensation Taylor Swift to come and release her music "directly" on X, his now-defunct Twitter platform.
The artist behind hits like "Anti-Hero," Swift, took to Twitter to encourage her fans to solve puzzles in order to learn the titles of hidden tracks from her upcoming album re-release entitled "1989 (Taylor’s Version)."
This was reportedly quite an obvious move by Musk because he could leverage the celebrity star power of Swift for some good publicity on his own crumbling platform, especially amid multitudes of controversies and highly questionable moves.
As described by Rolling Stone, Swift shrieked on X, "I can't wait for this one to be out, seriously." This reaction stirred an almost desperate call from Musk himself.
In reply to Swift's tweet, Musk jokingly said, "I recommend posting some music or concert videos directly on the X platform."
Musk's response generated mixed reactions. A playful fan commented humorously that "Elon is not needing Swifties for ad revenue."
Another fan tweeted that "no one asked, babe," while another joked in a fired-up line at Musk that "she's so powerful she has a literal billionaire looking for clout from her."
Meanwhile, Swift revealed the full tracklist and bonus song titles for her album, due out on October 27th.
It’s a new soundtrack 🩵 Here are the back covers and vault track titles for 1989 (my version) I can’t wait for this one to be out, seriously. Thank you for playing along, sleuthing, puzzling and making these reveals so much chaotic fun (which is the best kind of fun, after all… pic.twitter.com/s3QrxGpXhP
