'Ek Mini Katha' is now heading to Amazon Prime for a direct OTT release. The film, starring Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar, will stream on the platform from May 27. A trailer will be released on Friday.

Making the announcement, the streaming giant presented the film as a comedy. "A mini funny tale about not-so-big problems in life! (sic)," wrote Amazon Prime, making the release date announcement. "A mini tale of love, comedy and everything in between!" they added.

A poster in which the male lead is seen in an embarrassed posture at the centre, surrounded by Shraddha Das, Brahmaji, comedians Sudarshan and Saptagiri, was released.

This is the first Prime release of the second wave season. Directed by Karthik Rapolu, the film has music by Pravin Lakkaraju. Harshavardhan in part of the cast, so also Posani Krishna Murali. With the cinematography by Gokul Bharathi, the film's art direction is by Raveendar. Produced by UV Concepts, the film was supposed to release in theatres in April. It will now not release in theatres.
