WOW! Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham get their own ‘Fast and Furious’ movie?

The ‘Fate of the Furious’ aka ‘Fast 8’ is bringing in phenomenal collections at the box office worldwide and the action film is all set to become one of the highest grosser ever. The script work is going on for the ninth and the tenth instalment of the franchise.

Meanwhile, reports coming in from major Hollywood media channels suggest that Universal is keen on making a spinoff film of the ‘Fast and the Furious’ with Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs character and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw as the heroes. Charlize Theron is said to reprise her role as the villain Cipher with the regular screenwriter of the franchise Chris Morgan on board. If all these super busy actors do get together this spinoff could hit the screens before ‘Fast and the Furious 9’.
