Durai Dayanidhi’s attacking tweet!

The Thiruvarur bye-election which was scheduled to be held on January 28, was announced to be cancelled, early in the morning as the election commission revealed the news. Following this announcement from Election commission, there have been mixed emotions from various political parties, and few of the reactions for this cancellation, have caught the attention.

While parties like AIADMK and BJP were already demanding the cancellation of the election, citing the ongoing Gaja cyclone relief activities, parties like AMMK were waiting for the election. On the other hand, today Durai Dayanidhi, the son of MK Azhagiri had made a cryptic tweet, that has turned a topic of discussion.

Dayanidhi had tweeted, “If you believe something,be ready to fight. You will know whether you are part of winning side or losing side only after the fight,It’s so sad that people here are so scared and timid that they are not ready to take part..#thiruvarur” read the tweet. As Durai Dayanidhi had made this tweet referring the Thiruvarur by-elections, there has been a displeasure over this tweet in the DMK camp, as they believe this tweet was made against DMK, as Stalin had welcomed EC decision to cancel the election, and for long Azhagiri had been asking for his inclusion in DMK. In such a scenario, this tweet has been turned out to be a significant one.
