Dulqer Salmaan is one of the most sought-after heroes in Indian cinema who predominantly appears in Malayalam films. The actor is also a singer and producer who has gained a huge fandom in the Tamil and Hindi industries too. While his 25th film was a direct Tamil venture, his next project “DQ33” is also a Tamil movie.
DQ’s previous works O Kadhal Kanmani, Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal and Kurup became big hits in Kollywood. Now, the first look of Dulqer’s upcoming Tamil film just landed on the internet. DQ33 is a rom-com titled “Hey Sinamika” and the poster was released by actor Suriya. The project has two leading ladies: Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari opposite the charming actor. Dulqer plays Yaazhan in this outing.
‘Hey Sinamika’ marks the directorial debut of the famous Tamil dance master Brinda. Popular lyricist Madhan Karky has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics of the movie. Featuring music composed by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman, the film is confirmed to hit the screens on 25 February 2022. The film narrates the tale of a five-year-old couple planning for separation.
Hey Sinamika is produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios. It was originally planned to release in February 2021 but was postponed several times due to reasons including the pandemic. Sony Music has grabbed the music rights and Colors Tamil acquired the satellite rights while the streaming giant Netflix and Voot has bagged the OTT rights of the film.
