‘Dongalunnaru Jagratha’, starring Sri Simha Koduri in the lead, is in the post-production phase. On Tuesday, debutant director Satish Tripura revealed some interesting facts about the thriller.
The film, co-starring budding actress Preethi Asrani and Tamil-Telugu actor Samuthirakani, is Tollywood’s first-of-its-kind survival thriller. Producers D Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati are thrilled about the novel film, whose story revolves around a petty thief. The thief finds himself in an unenviable situation after he gets trapped. He has to fight for his survival in a situation riddled with unexpected plot turns.
The making of the thriller took 72 crew members and 342 hours of work.
Kaala Bhairava (music director), Yeshwanth C (cinematographer), Garry BH (editor), and Gandhi Nadikudikar (art director) are on board.
The film’s lead man was first seen as a protagonist in ‘Mathu Vadalara’. Last year, his second film ‘Thellavarithe Guruvaram’ was released. ‘Ustaad’, directed by newcomer Phanideep, is also his current project. The film will complete its shoot by the end of the year.
