DMK MPs protest against NEET at Parliament premises!

After the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted yesterday, the UPA allies predominantly the members of DMK from Tamil Nadu indulged in protests outside the Parliament today demanding cancellation of the undergraduate exams.

Before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MPs protested against NEET in the Parliament premises. Some of the prominent members of DMK who protested include MPs TR Balu, Tiruchi Siva and Kanimozhi.

The protesting MPs wore face masks with the slogan “Ban NEET, save TN students” on them and DMK and Communist Party of India moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha over the suicide of 12 teenage students due to NEET as well.
