MK Stalin reaction to DA case verdict

The Supreme Court has convicted all the living accused in the long drawn Disproportionate Assets case in which the late Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha was the prime Accused. The judge has uphold Bangalore Sessions Court Judge D Kunha's sentence of four years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs.10 crores each.

DMK's senior leader K.Anbazhagan is one of the main petitioners of the DA case back in 1996 when the party was ruling the state. Now AIADMK is the ruling party for the second consecutive term and DMK is the main opposition party in the Tamil Nadu assembly.

Reacting to the verdict, DMK's Working President M.K.Stalin has said that the justice has been upheld after 21 years. He has also said that the verdict has strongly established the fact that the corrupt people cannot escape from getting punished.

Moreover Stalin has requested the Tamil Nadu Governor Ch.Vidyasagar Rao to take immediate steps to form a stable Government in Tamil Nadu.
