Maverick director Vetrimaaran's upcoming film 'Viduthalai' is marching towards the finish line steadily at a rapid pace. We already updated you that the period crime thriller will be released in two parts. Now, the team revealed the audio and trailer launch event date of Viduthalai Part 1.

RS Infotainment and Grassroot Film Company have produced the film, which is set to be released by Red Giant Movies in Tamil Nadu. Today, the production houses announced that Viduthalai Part 1 song and trailer will be launched at a grand event on March 8. It is worth mentioning that we broke to you first in this regard. According to sources, the team is planning to release Viduthalai 1 on March 31. The film stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Chethan and many others. Soori plays a cop while Vijay Sethupathi plays a teacher. The story is based on the short story, 'Thunaivan', by author Jeyamohan. Ilaiyaraaja scored music for the movie.
