The acclaimed filmmaker's upcoming film, 'Viduthalai Part 1', is coming to cinemas on March 31. The latest is that Vetrimaaran has bought land for his 25 assistant directors ahead of the movie's release. As per the reports, he has bought one ground land for each of his assistants near Uthiramerur in the Chengalpattu district.

Also, Vetrimaaran has advised the assistants to build a house there or to use it for farming. He has strongly advised them against selling the land. This news is going viral on social media. Meanwhile, Viduthalai 1 stars Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles with Ilaiyaraaja music. Vetri will work on Suriya's 'Vaadivasal' and Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai 2' after the Viduthalai duology.
