Ever since the release of 'Iraivi', a sizable number of Tamil film producers are upset with director Karthik Subbaraj's portrayal of a film producer in a poor light in the film. Amid rumors suggesting that the Producer Council may issue a Red card against the young filmmaker, the Council seems to have decided to seek the intervention of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Union in this issue.

Addressing the Media today. Vikraman the President of Director's Union assured that an amicable solution will be found for the spat between Karthik Subbaraj and Producers. He confirmed that Karthik has given a letter to the Union explaining his position. He also said that the Director's Union has always been in brotherly terms with the Producers council and the issue will be definitely resolved soon.

At last this would bring a sigh of relief fro Karthik Subbaraj and his fans after a week long turmoil.
