We broke the news to you earlier that director Shankar is getting ready to helm a new pan Indian movie and the official confirmation has come now. The film as reported by us will star Ram Charan Teja in the lead and this is his fifteenth film. Another milestone is that this mega project is the 50th film for producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations.
Shankar after his blockbuster hit film ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar started directing ‘Indian 3’ starring Kamal Haasan and produced by Lyca Productions. The project has been stalled several times due to various issues including a makeup glitch and an onset accident that claimed three lives.
Since Kamal Haasan is facing the Tamil Nadu General Assembly Elections this year there is uncertainty as to when he will be available to shoot his remaining portions for ‘Indian 2’ next. It is said that Shankar will in the meantime start and complete the Ram Charan project which will be a pan-Indian film releasing in several languages.
