Prabhu Solomon is a renowned director who delivered strong films like Myna, Kumki and Kayal. His latest release, Sembi, landed in cinemas just before New Year and was appreciated by critics. Disney+ Hotstar, India's leading streaming platform is all set to stream, 'Sembi', from February 3.

The powerful and gripping drama features veteran actress Kovai Sarala, child artiste Nila and 'Cooku with Comali' fame Ashwin Kumar in the lead roles. Sembi is about an elderly tribal woman called Veeraththaai (Kovai Sarala) who demands justice for her 10-year-old granddaughter Sembi (Nila) who is assaulted by a gang of paedophiles drunk on power and position.
