The COVID 19 second wave which is still holding the country in its stranglehold has cost many lives in the Tamil film industry as well. It has now been reported that director Parthiban Desingu’s father V. Desingu aka Annamalai passed away at 11.30pm on Wednesday night.
It is said that Desingu tested positive for COVID 19 and on May 23rd his oxygen level fell dangerously low and he was admitted at the Rajiv Gandhi government hospital in Chennai and was under intensive care.
Parthiban Desingu made his directorial debut in the Hip Hop Thamizha Aadhi starrer ‘Natpe Thunai’ and was in preparation for his second project. He and his family are said to be devastated by the loss.
