Last month, Ravi revealed that Thani Oruvan 2 is taking to materialise as the brothers are busy with other commitments.

Yesterday, Mohan Raja took part in the trailer launch event of the film, ‘Soppana Sundari’, directed by his former assistant director SG Charles. During his speech, he was asked when will Thani Oruvan 2 happen. He answered, “Thani Oruvan 2 will surely go on the floors this year or next year.” This news is going viral among the fans.

Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara will reprise their roles from the original film in the second part. There is speculation that the project is likely to be produced by Vels Films International. However, we have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
