Director killed in road accident; his guru Shankar mourns

AV Arun Prasath, a debutant filmmaker, on Friday breathed his last. The youngster died in a road accident in Coimbatore. He was directing '4G', a romantic thriller starring GV Prakash Kumar in the lead.
Moments after the tragic news was made official, '2.0' and 'Indian-2' director Shankar took to Twitter to mourn the demise of his former student. "Heartbroken by the sudden demise of the young director and my ex-assistant, Arun. You were always sweet, positive and hardworking. My prayers are forever with you and my deepest condolences to your family and friends," Shankar tweeted a while ago.
GV Prakash said that he is "deeply saddened" by the loss.
