Renowned choreographer Brinda turned into a director last year with the romantic drama, 'Hey Sinamika'. Now, she has directed a slick crime action thriller titled 'Thugs' with a stunning star cast. The makers launched the official trailer of the upcoming movie today.

The 2.5-minute-long video gives us glimpses of a dark and raw world set in the backdrop of prison. It presents us with multiple characters with different conflicts trying to escape from the jail. The solid trailer had some exhilarating action blocks as well. Also, the plot is highly reminiscent of the 2018 Malayalam film, 'Swathanthryam Artharathiriyil'.

Hridhu Haroon, Bobby Simha, RK Suresh, Munishkanth, Anaswara Rajan, Sarath Appani, PL Thenappan and others have played the main roles in Thugs. Sam CS's scintillating background score, Priyesh Gurusamy's rusty frames and Praveen Antony's racy cuts elevated the trailer more. Produced by HR Pictures and Jio Studios, the film is coming to cinemas soon.
