Director Awaits Call Sheet for Exciting New Film Kalki 2898 AD

The movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, stars Prabhas in the lead role. This sci-fi film features a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The music for the film was composed by Santhosh Narayanan and it was released in June last year. A sequel to the film was announced shortly after its release.

Director Nag Ashwin recently shared updates about the sequel, stating that the script and other preparations are ready. However, the film requires the combined availability of Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, which has caused some delays. He expects the sequel’s shooting to begin this May, with plans to release it by the end of next year.

Earlier, the producers, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, had mentioned that shooting might commence by January or February. However, the schedule has now been pushed further.
