Director Ameer wishes Vasanth Ravi’s new movie with Sabarish Nanda! – VR07

Director Sabarish Nanda, who had already worked in Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s “Airaa” and Madras Talkies Productions’ “Navarasa” series, has signed a new movie tentatively called ‘VR07’. It has an interesting plot and cast to support the same. He has also made a web series titled ‘We Are Pregnant’ for Hotstar earlier and it gained a positive response.

Now, director Sabarish has joined with AR Jaffar Sadiq of JSM Pictures and Irfan Malik of Emperor Entertainment for a new untitled feature film. Vasanth Ravi, who is well known for choosing different scripts to entertain audiences, will play the lead role. Vasanth Ravi’s earlier movies include ‘Tharamani’, ‘Rocky’ and the recently released ‘Asvins’.

Mehreen Pirzada, who is famous in Tollywood, is set to play the female lead in this upcoming movie. She has done a lead role in Dhanush starrer ‘Pattaas’. Anikha Surendaran, who appeared as Ajith Kumar’s daughter in ‘Viswasam,’ is set to do a prominent role in ‘VR07’. Actor Suneel has been roped in to do an important role in this movie. His other films include Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’, Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran and Karthi’s Japan.

Choreographer Kalyan is set to do a negative shaded cop role. The movie has Suriya Rajeevan for art, Prabhakar Raghavan for cinematography, and Praveen KL for cuts. The music is composed by Ajmal Thaseen, who had earlier worked in Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Soppana Sundari. The untitled movie’s puja happened in Chennai. Director Ameer joined the ceremony and wished the team. This untitled flick is expected to commence shooting soon.
