Director Ameer puts out a new video in regard with producer Jaffer Sadiq & drug issue

Director and actor Ameer recently made headlines for acting in the film, ‘Iraivan Miga Periyavan’, because the movie’s producer Jaffer Sadiq was identified as an accused in a 2000-crore drug racket case. Ameer clarified in a statement that he had no idea about the activities of Jaffer Sadiq.

Ameer is being linked to Jaffer Sadiq in this drug issue even after his explanation. In this situation, he has released a new video claiming that he has nothing to do with the drug issue and is ready to cooperate with the police completely. This is now going viral on the internet. In his video message, Ameer said:

“Even after I made my position clear about the producer of my film, ‘Iraivan Miga Periyaavan’, Jaffer Sadiq, some people have been posting videos on social media pages linking me with criminal activities. I want to tell them something.

I follow a religion that basically has ideologies against things like alcohol, adultery and usury. Associating me with such a crime can tarnish my name and cause distress to my family. One cannot achieve any other benefits by doing this.

Police officers are there to investigate all allegations you make. There are officers from some other departments. I am ready to go to trial whenever they call me. My thanks to all who have loved and believed in me and supported me during this hard time.”
