"Arya" holds a special place in Allu Arjun's career as it marked his first major hit and also introduced director Sukumar, who has since become a prominent figure in Telugu cinema. As the film completes 20 years on May 7, 2024, the makers, including Dil Raju, are planning a grand event in Hyderabad to celebrate this milestone. Dil Raju confirmed this during a press interaction with the team of "Love Me."
Dil Raju, while promoting "Love Me," featuring his nephew Ashish Reddy and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in lead roles and slated for release on April 25, 2024, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. He credited Naga and Arun as the driving forces behind the film's inception, revealing that Naga had urged him to listen to the script, leading to a pivotal meeting with Arun. Upon hearing the script, Dil Raju felt a sense of déjà vu, reminiscent of the excitement he experienced twenty years ago when he first heard the story of "Arya." He expressed confidence that audiences would share a similar enthusiasm for "Love Me."
The film, which carries the tagline 'If You Dare,' is produced by Harshith Reddy, Hansitha, and Naga Mallidi under the prestigious banner of Dil Raju Productions. Directed by Arun Bhimavarapu, "Love Me" promises to captivate audiences with its intriguing storyline and compelling performances.
Coming to the film Arya2, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, became a cult hit in Telugu cinema. Audiences loved its songs, action sequences, and engaging storyline, making it a massive success at the box office. "Arya 2," released in 2009, is a spiritual sequel to the original film. Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Navdeep, and Kajal Aggarwal, the film explores the complex love-hate relationship between the characters Arya, Ajay (Arya's childhood friend), and Geetha (a woman they both love). The film, produced by Aditya Babu and B. V. S. N. Prasad under the Aditya Arts banner, received a theatrical release on November 27, 2009, and was well-received by audiences.
