Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' will release in Telugu on the same day of its Tamil release that is April 14, 2016. The release rights of the Telugu dubbed version has been bagged by Dil Raju.
The Telugu dubbing process of the film is currently going on in AVM Studios in Chennai. We learn from reliable sources that dubbing artist Vasu who would regularly dub for Vijay in Telugu versions of his film is doing the job for 'Theri' also.
The Telugu title Policeodu reportedly trended on social media even before it was made official today.
It is worth noting that Vijay plays a police officer in this film. Samantha and Amy Jackson play the female leads in this film directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director.
