Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram made a solid debut in ‘Aditya Varmaa’ the remake of the Telugu cult classic ‘Arjun Reddy’. He was flooded with offers but the coronavirus pandemic caused unexpected delays. He has had only one release in the past four years namely ‘Mahaan’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which he played a parallel lead opposite his father Vikram. This film too was released directly on OTT Amazon Prime Video.
Dhruv Vikram signed on for a sports movie to be directed by Mari Selvaraj long back but that got delayed. The project will now go on floors after the release of the Mari’s latest film ‘Maamannan’ starring Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Now the hot news in Kollywood is that Dhruv Vikram has reportedly signed one more film to be helmed by Ganesh Babu whose debut movie ‘DaDa’ starring Kavin and Aparna Das went on to become one of the biggest hits in recent times. The official announcement is expected soon.
The action-packed trailer for the film 'Vadam', starring Vimal and Natty, has been released.
