Santhanam capitalizes on ‘Petta’ vs ‘Viswasam’ in ‘Dhillukku Dhuddu 2’ teaser 2

The second teaser of Santhanam’s upcoming movie ‘Dhillukku Dhuddu 2’ has just landed and it is apparent that the team has capitalized on the ‘Petta’ vs ‘Viswasam’ sparks for better penetration.  The opening has Santhanam and Urvashi caught in a ghost house and the female mouths Superstar Rajinikanth’s mass dialogue ” Kola kaandula irukken evanukkaachum pondatti kozhandha kutti sentiment irundha apdiya odi poyidu”.

Santhanam aptly replies with Thala Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’ rejoinder “Peru Vellai Vichu…Ooru Vyasarpadi…pondatti Kerala lady…dhillirundha othaikku othai vaadi”.  When the trailers of the two Pongal biggies were released fans saw it as a war of punch dialogues between Thalaivar and Thala and became a talking point which surely should help this laugh riot too.

We then have some spooky ghost moments that ends with Mottai Rajendran getting his a@$ ghostwashed.  Looks like Rambhala has gone for a no holds barred approach to comedy in the sequel to their blockbuster hit ‘Dhillukku Dhuddu’.  Jointly produced by Santhanam’s Handmade Films and Trident Arts the cast includes Anchal Singh, Mayilswamy and Anandaraj and the team is eyeing a February 2019 release date.
