Earlier today IndiaGlitz reported the Chennai box office performance of Dhanush's 'Kodi'. Now we bring you the political thriller's performance across Tamil Nadu which is the testimonial for the fact that the film is a genuine hit for Dhanush.

With the completion of Two weeks 'Kodi' directed by Durai Senthil Kumar has collected Rs.31.5 crores from theatricals across the state.

Chennai- Rs.2.98 crores
Chengalpet- Rs.6.2 crores
Coimbatore- Rs.5.2 crores
Tirunelveli & Kanyakumari- Rs.1.5 crores

Apart from box office success. 'Kodi' is also getting critical acclaim from audience and critics. Especially Dhanush's performance in dual roles and Trisha's multi-layered negative character have worked out phenomenally in favour of the film. The film highlighting the mercury poisoning issue by factories and its connection to the struggle against Unilever factory in Kodaikanal is getting noticed by critics and activist.
