A few weeks back it was being reported that actor-producer Dhanush has acquired the Tamil remake rights of the latest Malayalam blockbuster 'Premam'. Soon it was told that Dhanush has cast Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role played by Nivin Pauly in the original.
Dhanush immediately clarified that the script and other details of his second film with Vijay Sethupathi after the super hit 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' has not been finalised yet.
Recently in a Twitter interaction with fans, Dhanush revealed a shocker by saying that he has not purchased the remake rights of 'Premam' at all.
It is worth recalling that Dhanush's elder brother and reputed filmmaker Selvaraghavan had said that Alphonse Puthiran, the director of Malayalam original has to decide about the remakes and he only can do justice to the remakes.
