‘Vaathi’ trailer: Dhanush’s action entertainer set in an interesting premise looks promising!

Dhanush is a highly talented and globally acclaimed Indian actor now. His upcoming release, ‘Vaathi’, is one of the most talked about films in the actor’s career. While the movie is all set to hit the screens worldwide on February 17, the makers launched the official trailer of Vaathi at a lavish ceremony in Hyderabad.

Dhanush, who took part in the film’s audio launch Saturday, will be present at today’s trailer launch event as well. The 2.5-minute trailer landed on the internet a few minutes ago. Dhanush will be seen as Balamurugan, a teacher and reformer in the education field. Vaathi seems to be a powerful period action drama with a strong message.

The trailer depicts the backdrop of the movie with a good share of comedy, love, philosophy and action cuts. Samyuktha Menon is paired with Dhanush in this movie while Samuthirkani plays the villain. The video ends with a mass fourth-wall-breaking moment which was very enjoyable. Vaathi trailer has ample junctures to pull the audience to cinemas.

Vaathi also stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi, Praveena and others. GV Prakash’s musical score elevated the trailer very much, which is backed by brilliant frames and cuts by Yuvraj and Navin Nooli respectively. Venkat’s action choreography looks solid.
