Dhanush’s ‘Raayan’ second single: A charming melody gaana from the mind of AR Rahman!

Dhanush launched the second single from his 50th film, ‘Raayan’, today. The new song, ‘Water Packet’, is a romantic gaana number composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman. It showcases the love story between Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balamurali in the movie.

AR Rahman has selected a unique combination of voices for this lively track: Santhosh Narayanan and Shwetha Mohan. The lyrics for ‘Water Packet’ were written by Gana Kadhar. This charming and delightful melody has quickly gone viral. ‘Raayan’ is described as a revenge action drama set against the backdrop of North Chennai.

Directed by Dhanush, this film is all set to hit the screens on June 13. It features an ensemble star cast comprising Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan and others. Sun Pictures bankrolled this much-awaited movie.
