Yesterday marked a rare and exciting phenomena as Dhanush and Simbu graced the dias at the same time for the launch of ‘Sakka Podu Podu Raja’ album which marks the debut of Simbu as a music composer. The film’s hero Santhanam along with Yuvan Shankar Raja, VTV Ganesh and Harish Kalyan were also present in the event.

Ensuing a great uproar from fans, Dhanush touted praise for Santhanam’s growth from a comedian to a hero which was possible only because of his hardwork. After this, however, Dhanush went into a lengthy but equally interesting heart out speech about his friend Simbu.

Dhanush were all praise for Simbu from the beginning saying that Simbu has managed to sustain in the industry for a period of 15 years which is more tough than getting in and tasting success. More importantly, Dhanush also professed that there was no issues between him and Simbu, but only because of some people in their midst and he didn’t want to talk on that.

"Those who are with us during our success don't mean they are our real friends. It doesn't even matter if they don't help. But real friends support and console us during our tough times," Dhanush said.

On a last but very promising note, Dhanush exclaimed that Simbu will receive the same ardent reception in his next event from Dhanush fans. So we can also expect the duo to be on stage together soon again!
