South star Dhanush has some promising projects in his kitty like Vaathi and Captain Miller. The latest update states that his next film with director Sekhar Kammula of Love Story fame will commence with a formal Pooja tomorrow in Hyderabad.
Earlier, in June 2021, Sekhar Kammula officially announced on social media that he is going to team up with Dhanush for his next film. The director had tweeted: “Truly excited and charged. A star who enjoys his performance finds purpose in his performance – Dhanush. Let’s do it once more. Happy to continue the association with Narayana Das K Narang Gaaru n Puskur Ram Mohan Rao Gaaru,” (sic)
The film will be produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao of the accomplished production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group). It will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
On the work front, Dhanush is presently busy shooting for Arun Matheswaran’s directorial, Captain Miller. Touted to be an action-adventure film, the venture will be set against the backdrop of 1930 India.
