The two-time National Award winner Dhanush recently completed the shooting of his Hollywood debut movie ‘The Gray Man’ and is in Hyderabad working on his next ‘D43’ directed by Karthik Naren. Malavika Mohanan is the lead heroine of the film and the shoot is expected to be wrapped up by the end of this month.
Dhanush is committed to star next in movies directed by Selvaraghavan, Ramkumar, Mari Selvaraj and Vetrimaaran in Tamil and Sekhar Kammula and Venky Atluri in Telugu and a couple of Hindi projects.
Now comes the big news that director Elan of ‘Pyaar Prema Kadhal’ has been roped in to direct Dhanush’s new movie and pre-production work has already started bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films. Earlier director Balaji Mohan was on board to direct this project but a change has happened now due to various reasons.
Sources say that the Elan has dropped a proposed film titled ‘Star’ with Harish Kalyan in the lead to concentrate on the Dhanush project which could be ‘D45’ or ‘D46’. Stay tuned for official word on this exciting news.
