Dhanush who had a great 2021 with many blockbusters is currently busy shooting for his bilingual film Vaathi in Hyderabad with Samyuktha Menon playing the lead lady. As the movie gets its shape, sources say that two of his next film are to be released on OTT platforms.

Dhanush recently wrapped Maaran and The grey man. ‘Maaran’ is directed by Karthick Naren and the movie has Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and more. It is produced by Satya Jyoti Films and the music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie might skip the theatrical release. Now, the buzz is that the makers are allegedly in talks with the OTT platform about the release rights. But an official announcement is yet to arrive.

On the other hand, his Hollywood film The grey Man will also release directly on Netflix in June. It's also notable that it's been a while since his fans witnessed the National awardee on Big screens as his movies ‘Karnan’, ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ and ‘Atrangi Re’ were all released in OTT due to the Covid outbreak.
