Dhanush’s much-anticipated film Kubera is slated for release on June 20, and the buzz around it is already gaining momentum. While promotional activities are set to begin shortly, the film has already received its first wave of praise—this time from a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry.

Rahul, a leading film distributor, recently took to social media to share his excitement after an early screening of Kubera. In his post, he thanked director Sekhar Kammula for the opportunity to watch the film and lauded its gripping screenplay and performances. “Everything, including the screenplay, was very powerful,” he wrote. He went on to declare, “This is another blockbuster for Dhanush brother.”

Rahul also praised the performances of King Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, calling them “amazing,” and expressed confidence that audiences will flock to theaters to celebrate the film.

With the first unofficial review going viral online, expectations are soaring for Kubera. The film is a pan-Indian release, set to hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead opposite Dhanush, while Nagarjuna plays a pivotal role. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, adding to the high-profile team behind the project.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, Kubera is shaping up to be one of the major releases of the year.
