The recent buzz is that the team has planned to begin the shooting of 'Vaathi' next week in Hyderabad. Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead in this film bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. GV Prakash is scoring music for this movie.

We hear that the makers have decided to wrap up the entire shooting by three months. Dhanush's first direct Tollywood project is being made in two languages: 'Sir' in Telugu and 'Vaathi' in Tamil. The actor will start on his second direct Telugu project with Sekhar Kammula after this venture.
