On Dhanush’s birthday last month, his 51st film was officially announced with a title look poster. Today, the makers have officially announced that Rashmika Mandanna is pairing up with Dhanush for the first time in D51. As per the sources, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Sai Pallavi are also playing pivotal roles in the movie. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd are jointly producing this massive project. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is likely to score music for the upcoming film.
On the work front, Dhanush’s magnum opus ‘Captain Miller’ with director Arun Matheswaran is slated to be released on December 15 while the actor has moved to his second directorial ‘D50’ in which he also plays the lead. ‘D50,’ produced by Sun Pictures and music by ARR, is a gangster revenge drama with a multistarrer cast. He will join director Nelson for his next after these flicks.
