‘Thangamagan’ directed by Velraj is the latest talk of the Kollywood town as it is releasing worldwide tomorrow (dec.18, 2015). The film stars Dhanush, Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles and carries Anirudh's musical score.
In a recent interview, versatile actor Dhanush who is also the producer of the film has clarified that there is no link between ‘Velai Illa Pattadhari’ and "Thangamagan’ and the only connection between the two films is the same technical team. ‘Thangamagan’ is a fresh film which has story that is entirely different from ‘VIP’ and it is neither a prequel nor sequel. He requested his fans to come without expecting ‘VIP’ resemblance in this film and approach it as a fresh film. .
