Dhanush and Aishwaryaa met at a party? Is this what happened?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa and her husband actor Dhanush were married for 18 years and have two sons together.  They recently made the announcement that they are separating which came as a shock not only to the family on both sides but also to the fans of Rajini and Dhanush.

It was earlier reported that Rajinikanth and Dhanush’s father Kasturi Raja were in talks to reunite the couple and the latter promised that good news will come soon.  At one point of time Dhanush was shooting for ‘Vaathi’ in Hyderabad and Aishwaryaa was in preparation for her song video ‘Musafir’ in the same city and they were said to have even stayed at the same hotel.  There was hope that they would meet and talk out their differences there which unfortunately did not happen.

It is now reported that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa attended a party hosted by a common friend in Chennai a few days back.  The guests there supposedly waited anxiously for them to speak to each other but here too they allegedely ignored each other.  However there has been no official clarification in this regard yet.
