Deva Katta Breaks Silence on Rumours; ‘My Focus Is on My Most Ambitious Film’

Filmmaker Deva Katta has finally responded to the rumours doing the rounds about his alleged involvement in other film projects. The director took to social media to clarify that he is currently focused entirely on writing and developing his next directorial venture.

In his statement, Katta revealed that he has been spending most of his time working on his upcoming film and expressed excitement about the project. While keeping details under wraps, he hinted that the film would be his “most ambitious work yet,” promising to share more information when the time is right.

At the same time, the filmmaker firmly dismissed reports claiming that he has been directing portions of other movies. Calling such stories baseless rumours spread merely to attract attention, Katta made it clear that he is not involved in directing any other project.

“I’m not at all directing even a single shot from any other films,” he stated, putting an end to the ongoing speculation.

The clarification comes amid growing discussions on social media and within industry circles regarding his professional commitments. While Katta continues to be associated with a few creative ventures, including his work as a dialogue writer for Varanasi and the recently released political drama series Mayasabha, he emphasized that his primary focus remains on his own film.

Known for his uncompromising storytelling and socially relevant narratives, Deva Katta has built a reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s most distinctive filmmakers. His latest statement not only silences the rumours but also raises curiosity about the project he is currently developing.

For now, the filmmaker is choosing to keep his cards close to his chest. However, one thing is certain Deva Katta is fully invested in bringing his next vision to life, and if his words are anything to go by, audiences can expect something truly ambitious from the acclaimed director.
